Types of Adhesive Cleaners
BeardowAdams manufactures the following types of cleaners:
- BAMClean 1 is ideal for most hot melt adhesive application systems, such as those used for bookbinding, packaging, labelling and light-weight product assembly applications. The product is supplied in easy-to-use pastilles.
- BAMClean 2 is suitable for cleaning hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive, non-woven and labelling applications. This adhesive cleaner is available as a liquid suppled in 5 l containers.
- BAMClean 3 is a heavy duty agent, suitable for higher viscosity adhesive applications in woodworking industry. Besides, this cleaner is suitable for cleaning machinery from polyurethane adhesive residues. BAMClean 3 may also be used for cleaning a heavy build-up of char or burnt adhesive. The product is supplied in a prill format.
- BAMSolve is a good surface cleaner for machinery and components to easily remove adhesive residues. It is supplied as a liquid in 5 l containers. Mind that BAMSolve should always be used undiluted and at room temperature, it should never be heated.

- high quality of the result – the product is able to remove even the smallest traces of adhesive, maintaining the operability of the machinery, and copes great with baked-on char;

Application and Storage
Adhesive cleaners are designed for:
- cleaning systems for applying hot melt adhesive inside and outside, for example, if you are going to apply another type of adhesive;
- removing adhesive and gel residue from machinery components;
- removing char in hoses, tanks and other parts of the machine.
Proper regular cleaning of the systems prevents their blocking and failure, while maintaining operability and functionality of the machinery. For the best possible result, cleaning should be carried out annually. Store the product in its original packaging, with its lid tightly closed to preserve original properties.
